Mac Software

I am a Mac Software addict. Really – just ask my family.

When it comes to programs for my darling iMac – the possibilities are endless. There is a package for just about anything and everything. While the native Apple programs like iCal, AddressBook, iPhoto, and iMovie can probably handle everything I need (I guess why they call it the iLife, suite – duh) there is so much more fun to be had trying out new programs to see how to make things even better.

While there are tons of choices, the types of Mac software that I am drawn to usually have to do with humdrum stuff like – personal productivity, personal finance, kids games, and photo editing. Basically things to add organization along with a bit of flair to my otherwise ordinary life.

Of course, free Mac software is my preference – but I have found that sometimes you end with exactly what you pay for. ;-) So, I often shell out a few bucks to get the latest and greatest.

Here are some of the programs for Apple Mac computers that I have tried – along with my novice opinion (which I just so love offering up – again, just ask my family).

And, as always, I enjoy discovering new programs. So, if you have tried a package that I haven’t covered please do comment and let me know about it. I will be sure and check it out!

  • Using Mac Recipe Software brings order to the kitchen – but it is not necessary. Create your own system for organizing a home cookbook.
  • I love good journal software for mac – while a fresh, crisp notebook is nice – I often misplace it. I don’t often misplace my computer.
  • What is iLife ? iLife is an awesome suite of programs that is included with every new Apple computer. These programs are designed to (not surprisingly) organize your digital life.

Also – just a head’s up – if you are looking for Mac software best prices can be found at several different discount sites. Check these out – and let us know about some new ones!
