Today is the last day of the Nova Development Bundle for Mac.
I wanted to shout this out for one reason – this particular bundle includes Parallels for Mac – the software that allows you to run Windows simultaneously with Mac OS X.
When you run Windows using Parallels – it opens the Microsoft operating system in a application type window on OS X – so you can access your Mac files at the same time.
Typically Parallels costs $79.99 by itself – but this entire bundle is only $49 - so that is a big savings right there!
The other programs in this Mac bundle include:
- LittleSnapper
- Chronicle 4
- Flux 3
- iStat Menus 3
- Fantashow
- iStopmotion 2
- Video Converter 2
- SyncMate Expert 3
- CuteClips 3
Overall, you will save a total of $400 compared to the retail value of buying each piece of Mac software separately.
Even I snapped this one up! A few days ago I had the chance to play with Windows Live Writer – and I think I fell in love. So Parallels will prove to be very useful to me.
IMPORTANT: Just be aware – Parallels DOES NOT include the Windows operating system. You have to purchase this separately – which you can easily do right within the application.
UPDATE: This bundle has expired – but you might be interested in the MacLegion Mac bundle for spring 2012
