Sad news for anyone that uses the popular online photo editing sofware at Picnick.com.
At some point this wonderful service was purchased by Google.
And today they have announced that they are closing their doors on April 19, 2012.
Picnik.com had a free version – which was pretty darn good and a premium version as well.
All premium users will receive a refund of 100% of their yearly fee.
The announcement also offers up some “good” news: premium features will be free to everyone from now until closing.
But Apple users know that the true good news is that they have many, many choices in fantastic photo editing software for Mac at their disposal.
Not all of it is free – but once you buy it – it’s yours.
Goodbye Picnik – we will miss you.
